Michael is an associate attorney in the firm’s litigation department. He handles a wide range of matters, including business disputes, shareholder litigation, employment litigation, real estate and condominium litigation, construction litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and general civil litigation.
Michael joined Kelly & Mancini in July of 2015, bringing with him years of prior courtroom experience which has included hearings and court appearances of all types ranging from dispositive hearings to civil jury trials (both as first- and second-chair counsel) to administrative hearings before various state agencies and boards.
Michael is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island state court and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island. Michael has also been admitted pro hac vice in other jurisdictions including the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts and in Massachusetts state court.
Prior to joining Kelly & Mancini, Michael practiced in the areas of civil litigation, business law, personal injury, real estate law, family law, and criminal defense.
As a licensed title agent in Rhode Island, Michael has years of experience as a title and conveyancing attorney and has written title policies and closed commercial and residential loans of varying sizes throughout Rhode Island.
